Tomorrow the USA women sitting volleyball team will have one of her last training sessions before they start their first match at the Paralympic Games, and you are free to visit these training sessions.

The USA team is seen as an important candidate for Paralympic gold in London. They won a silver medal at the Paralympic Games in Beijing (2008) and also silver during the World Cup in 2012.

The first training session is on Friday 31 of August at 9:30 A.M. until 10.30 A.M. The next session is on Saturday the first of September from 11.00 A.M. until 12.00 A.M. These sessions will take place in the Sport Compass House that is located in the Royal Docks Community School during the Paralympic Games. If you would like to see some of the Paralympic athletes real close, the Sport Compass House is the place to be.

The Sport Compass House is also a meeting point for everybody who is interested in disabled sports. It is opened every day during the Paralympic Games from 9.30 A.M. until 5.00 P.M. and it’s located nearby the ExCel Exhibition Center where also the sitting volleyball matches will take place. So when you’re visiting the ExCel exhibition Center just come and have a cup of coffee and meet some interesting people.
